Tonight, I Held My Nose…

…and voted for Bob Barr, Libertarian. It was hard to vote for someone who voted for a gun ban (I’m still not clear on that situation) but it was much easier than voting for Johnny Rhino.
I must admit, I felt a bit of that same rebellious twinge inside I once got as a teen when sneaking a smoke. Why was that, I wonder. It’s not like I was doing an actual act of rebellion, just voting for a Libertarian. I felt a snarky grin creep across my face as I filled in the little oval next to his name though.
