Copyright my ass…

Five times in the past twenty-four hours, I’ve tried to watch YouTube videos only to discover they’d been removed due to “copyright issues.”

The first four, alright - they were iffy. They were leaked songs off the new AC/DC album. I can see the beef… sorta. Today, a few hours after they were yanked off YouTube last night, they appeared on “AC/DC’s” MySpace page. Don’t really see what the fuss was over.

The last one was a video in which George Brett of Kansas City Royals fame regaled a teammate about how many times he’d filled his pants. Seriously - video of George Brett talking about crapping himself. That’s one of those things that, I suppose, isn’t all that odd in the proper context (if there is a proper context to talk about loading your drawers.) Well, I’ll never know what the context was, since Time Warner Cable had the video yanked for copyright issues.

You f’n people can take your copyrights and cram ‘em. Are you ever going to do anything with this? No. It’s probably just scrap footage that got leaked out, never meant to see the light of day.
