You CANNOT be Gay and Christian!

Time for me to gripe about my biggest pet peeve - gay “Christians.” If you’re a guy that feels the desire to have… “activities” with another man, but realizes they’re wrong and refuse to act upon them, fine. That’s no different than the trials that non-homosexuals face in other areas of sin on a daily basis.
If you are unrepentantly practicing homosexuality, however, and trying to say that it’s okay, YOU ARE WRONG. The Bible is clear on this. I don’t know how else to try saying this. Do you people ignore scripture? Do you just choose to read the parts that make you feel good? Is there some new translation I haven’t heard of that says it’s okay to be sodomized?
Some Upset By Mormon Church Call For Political Participation
Lester Leavitt wrote a letter asking family members to make a decision.
The Pompano Beach, Fla., man wanted his siblings and children to choose family over a call from Mormon church leaders to support a November ballot initiative to define traditional marriage in California’s constitution. A lifetime Mormon who came out as a gay man in 2004, Leavitt wants his California relatives to walk out when a letter from the church’s leader is read.
“I thought by asking my family to do this, I was simply asking them to send a strong message to Salt Lake City that they disagree with the idea that any church has the right to entrench clearly religious dogma into the constitution of a state or country,” he wrote in a letter posted on an Internet discussion group called q-saints. “I was just asking them to defend my civil rights.”
A letter from Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was to be read from the pulpit in church congregations Sunday.
After working as an activist on behalf of gay Mormons and surviving an excommunication attempt by his local bishop, Leavitt said Monson’s letter was a disappointing last straw. He sent a certified letter to the church’s Salt Lake City headquarters Wednesday asking to have his name removed from the roles.
“I wanted to remain a cultural Mormon,” Leavitt, 44, said Thursday. “I thought there was a way, an opening up, but then all of a sudden, the church decides this … and I’m not going to wait around.”
Leavitt is far from alone.
Since the letter first began circulating on the Web last weekend, hundreds of Mormon blog postings have expressed disbelief, disappointment and outrage at the church’s decision to wade into politics.
Wading into politics? Wtf? Homosexuality is a moral issue, not a political issue. Gay people have politicized their immoral lifestyles for the purposes of trying to legitimize their activity. Don’t whine when a Church tries to fight back against you destroying the meaning of marriage.
One last closing note on this matter, for now. If I hear one more gay person say, “I’m not allowed to get married” I’m going to spazz out. Gay people can get married - just not to someone of the same gender. It’s not a complicated matter. If you want to get married, then find someone of the opposite sex. That’s what marriage is, stupid.
