Getting on the Air…
By jimrob | June 17, 2008
One of the things that annoys me about internet-based ham radio clubs is that the members rarely actually get on the air. I don’t know why, to be honest. When we do get on the air, we can hear eachother most of the time. The few times we can’t, we can just turn the rigs up (ignoring the religion that some seem to make QRP into) and then we can.
I’m going to start talking on the radio more, and using the computer less. I’ve already cut way back on the number of groups I’m involved with, and may whittle it down more. I will operate SSB and CW, and not always QRP.
I encourage all of you who have more emails than QSOs to do the same.
