If I weren’t already quitting my job, I would be now. I got a letter today stating that the company’s “Wellness Program” will now be mandatory if I want insurance. What a crock of shit.
“Do this not only for yourself, but for your family and loved ones.” Oh BULLSHIT. This is all about saving the company money; don’t act like it’s about keeping me healthy for my own benefit. If there wasn’t money to be saved by doing this, they wouldn’t give a shit if I was nothing but a big tumor walking into work.
“Lower healthcare costs equate to lower healthcare premiums for our employees.” Okay, so when this thing goes into effect, am I going to see my weekly contribution reduced? HA! That’s a joke.
Curwood, go screw yourself. It amazes me how they always send out letters like this on the weekend when the front office isn’t there to listen to us bitch.
