Here’s an interesting story I ran across this evening, detailing a museum exhibit designed to dispel myths surrounding the seal of the U.S.

It tackles most of them… the “all seeing eye,” the recurrences of thirteen items, etc. Most commenters disagreed, of course. Here’s a good one:
The all seeing eye was set up by Dr. Adam Weishaupt who founded the Illuminati back on May 1st 1776. The Roman numerals at the base refer to 1776, the date he founded the Illuminati which conveniently corressponds to the year of the Declaration of Independence. This “eye” symbolized a “big brother”, and the mutual spying system of the domain. The Latin words above and below the eye on the dollar bill in translation mean “Announcing the Birth of a New World Order”. The All Seeing Eye is seen in the meditation room at the United Nations building in New York City. The “Great Seal” was designed under the authority of Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both Freemasons and Benjamin Franklin a member of another secret society, the Rosicrucians.
Yeah, “conveniently” corresponds to the year the Declaration of Independence was signed. Also, Mr. Basement Dweller needs to brush up on his latin. While I don’t speak a bit of it, I’ve seen this theory floated often enough to become convinced that he is wrong (not that it took much prodding to do so.) Also, he directly contradicts an obvious fact stated in the article; Ben Franklin didn’t help design the seal.

But, like most commenters agreed, this comes from THEM so it can’t be believed. This is all part of a massive cover-up to keep us apeased until the Illuminati and CFR can finish up their globalization plans in 2012.
I really don’t know what it is with these people. Granted, I believe a few theories; but they’re believable theories. Things like Lee Harvey Oswald not acting alone, if at all, the fluoride problems, vaccines causing autism, and things like Bigfoot (hey, it is possible…). But THIS, gheesh. If you people had some real substantial evidence, not just worthless circumstancial garbage that does nothing but make you think you’re some uber-geek who stumbled upon secrets you were never meant to know, I may put some thought into what you have to say. Clearly, all you have is grade school level rumors that are easily debunked. Heck, THEY hardly had to work at all to refute them! What does THAT tell you?
